Hello, it has been a while, but I would like to announce my new project, Benchmark.

What is Benchmark?

Benchmark is a crowd-sourced voting platform, with the goal to find the "best" Thing according to the internet.

What is a 'Thing'?

A Thing is a concept, idea, or object.
It can be a lot of things, but it must meet these requierments:
- Can't be offensive
- Can't be a real person
- Can't be the same as an existing Thing

How does it work?

When you vote, you are presented between two options, you have to pick the one which you feel is better.
The crowd-sourced part comes in, when a user wants to add something to the list of Things, all they have to do, is submit one, and wait for evaluation.
If it is approved, it will be added to the pile of options
If it is denied, it will not be shown to anyone.
Once a Thing is evaluated, the user that submitted it, is allowed to submit another Thing for evaluation.

If you want to participate in Benchmark, go here: benchmark.minejerik.dev

Every month or so, I plan on releasing a CSV file that contains the rankings of all the Things.

This is a shorter blog post, but I hope you all enjoyed.
I hope that you participate in Benchmark, as I want to see, what the internet thinks the best Thing is.
